Write a case study to analyse how HERA can regain market leadership Dear Candidate, Attached is a data set in excel format for you to analyze and then present the analyses and findings to us. Please email your completed presentation no later than 72 hours from the time of receiving this email. The presentation should be in MS Office – PowerPoint format or PDF. Please send your workings along. The objective of the presentation is: Assist HERA in regaining market leadership position The data includes: Facts: Sales volumes (volumes generated by the category, manufacturer, brand or SKU(crt = carats)) Sales value (revenue generated from volumes sold) Volume share (volume share of the manufacturer, brand or SKU in that particular market) Value share (value share of the manufacturer, brand or SKU in that particular market) Outlet presence (percentage of outlets the category, manufacturer, brand or SKU is present in) Distribution efficiency (presence in percentage of high volume generating shops for the category) Price per unit (per unit price, for e.g. price of 1KG of something) Pack Price (price of the packs, should only look at SKU pack price, since a brand would have different SKUs and each SKU would have a different price) Markets: Mount Olympus here is the total country (for e.g. Pakistan). Then there are different districts or provinces and finally type of outlets. Products: Everything is color coded. First off is the category (Thunderbolts), then it is followed by manufacturers present in the category, followed by the segments of that category and then the breakup of manufacturers along with their brands and SKUs Time Periods: 3 years of data is provided for the analysis In the excel sheet, the table of contents are linked with the specific markets you want to look at. The data is self-explanatory and you should look for the basic links which would help build your story or case. As a hint, analyze the category and it’s movement, then drill down to the manufacturers, brands and SKUs in the category and link it to the objective.
